Moral:

Help others, even when it’s inconvenient.

One sunny day in the city, Jamal was dribbling his basketball down the block, feeling fly in his new high-tops. Suddenly, he saw little Keshia sitting on the stoop, crying. One of her sneakers was missing, and her sock was all dirty from hopping around. Jamal could’ve kept bouncing his ball—after all, he was late for the park—but he remembered how Jesus taught us to love our neighbors.

“Hey, Keshia, what’s up?” he asked.

“My sneaker fell off by the corner store, and I can’t find it!” she sniffled.

Jamal didn’t think twice. He ran to the store, dodging bikes and skateboards, and spotted that tiny purple sneaker stuck under a bench. He grabbed it, dusted it off, and hustled back. “Here
you go, fam!” he said, smiling big. Keshia hugged him tight, and Jamal felt warm inside—like
Jesus was proud of him.

Lesson:

Just like the Good Samaritan in the Bible, Jamal stopped to help someone in need. Jesus shows us how to be kind, and we can follow Him by looking out for others!

Moral:

Sharing makes everyone happy.

Tasha was chilling at the playground with her new pack of fruit snacks—mango flavor, her fave! Her little cousin Malik rolled up on his scooter, eyeing those snacks with big, hungry eyes. “Tasha, can I have one? Pleeease?” he begged. Tasha wanted to keep them all—she’d been waiting all week for these! But then she thought about Jesus, who always shared love and hope
with everyone.

She remembered a story from the Bible about a lady who shared her last bit of oil, and God made it enough for everyone. “Okay, Malik,” Tasha said, ripping open the pack. “Let’s split it!”
She gave him half, and then her friend Aaliyah walked by. Tasha waved her over and gave her some too. Soon, they were all giggling and munching together. Tasha didn’t run out—she had
just enough, and her heart felt full.

Dre was at school, zooming around the blacktop with his remote-control car. His best bud, Jaylen, asked to try it, but Dre said, “Nah, man, it’s mine!” Jaylen grabbed it anyway, and—CRASH—it smashed into the wall. Dre was mad! He yelled, “You’re not my friend anymore!” and stomped off. But later, at home, Dre thought about Jesus. Jesus forgave people, even when they messed up big-time—like the son who ran away but came back sorry. Dre grabbed his tablet and made a little “Sorry Song” with a beat: “Yo, Jaylen, my bad, let’s fix this quick, I forgive you, bro, no more tricks!” The next day, he played it for Jaylen at recess. Jaylen grinned and said, “My fault too, Dre. We cool?” They hugged it out and raced the fixed-up car together.

It was pouring rain in the hood, and Nia was cozy under her umbrella, splashing in puddles with her rain boots. As she passed the alley, she heard a tiny “meow.” A soggy kitten was shivering under a cardboard box, looking scared. Nia could’ve kept walking—her mom was waiting with hot cocoa—but she thought about Jesus and how He cared for everyone, even the smallest. Nia scooped up the kitten, wrapped it in her scarf, and ran home. “Mom, look! Can we help it?” she asked. They dried the kitten off, gave it some milk, and made a little bed. Nia named it “Puddles” and smiled, thinking how Jesus would’ve stopped too. Later, she found Puddles’ owner—a little girl named Zoe—and handed it back. Zoe hugged Nia tight, and they became buddies.

asked him to help set up chairs before he ran off to play. “I got you, Abuela!” he promised, but
then his crew rolled up with a kickball. Carlos almost ditched the chairs—kickball was way more
fun—but he remembered Jesus always kept His promises, like coming to save us.
So Carlos grabbed the chairs, stacking them fast with a big grin. “Work first, play later,” he told
himself. When he finished, Abuela gave him a high-five and a plate of ribs. “You’re a man of

mean to!”—but deep down, she knew she’d rushed on purpose. Her tummy twisted, not just
from hunger. She thought about Jesus, who loved truth and helped people make things right,
like that tax guy Zacchaeus.

Jesus, who was brave for His friends, even calming a wild storm.
She rolled over and sat next to Jamal. “Yo, I got you, lil’ man. Let’s do it together!” She held his
hand, and they slid down slow—laughing when they landed safe at the bottom. Jamal jumped

sneaky snack didn’t feel so sweet anymore.
He marched back inside, head low. “Uh, Mr. Tony, I took this gummy worm. I’m sorry—here’s my

help people feel better, like the blind man He healed.
Kyla popped out her earbuds. “Mrs. J, let me carry that for you!” She grabbed the bag, and while
they waited for the bus, she said, “You’re the strongest lady I know—carrying all this!” Mrs.

when others tried to shoo them away.
She hopped up and waved. “Hey, Marcus! I’m Aaliyah. Wanna sit with us at lunch?” Marcus’

it was a big deal because she gave with love.
