If you trust God and stay close to Him, He’ll keep you safe. He’s like a big, strong house where you can hide. He’s like a bird who covers you with soft wings so nothing scary can get you.
God will protect you from sneaky traps and bad sicknesses. His feathers will cover you up, and under His wings, you’ll feel safe. You don’t have to be afraid of the dark or bad things that might happen during the day.
Even if lots of people around you are falling down, God will keep you standing strong. You’ll see that He takes care of the people who love Him.
No big trouble will come to your house. God sends His angels to watch over you, wherever you go. They’ll hold you up so you don’t even stub your toe!
God says, “If you love Me and call My name, I’ll rescue you. I’ll be with you when things get tough. I’ll save you and give you a big hug. I’ll let you live a long, happy life with Me.”
Psalm 91 is like a big promise from God. It says that if you love Him and trust Him, He’ll protect you from all kinds of scary stuff—like traps, sickness, or bad things that might happen. He’s like a safe place to hide, and He even sends angels to watch over you. God promises to be with you, save you, and give you a happy life because He loves you so much!
Here’s a short part from the real Psalm 91 (in easy words from the New International Reader’s
Version):
- “Whoever rests in the shadow of the Most High God will be kept safe by the Mighty One.”
(Psalm 91:1)
- “He will cover you with His feathers. Under His wings you will find safety.” (Psalm 91:4)
- “He will command His angels to guard you in all your ways.” (Psalm 91:11)
