Acts 9:3-6 (NIV) – “As he neared Damascus on his journey, suddenly a light from
heaven flashed around him. He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, ‘Saul, Saul, why
do you persecute me?’ ‘Who are you, Lord?’ Saul asked. ‘I am Jesus, whom you are
persecuting,’ he replied. ‘Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must
do.'”
Paul, who was first called Saul, didn’t like people who followed Jesus. He was mean to them
and even wanted to put them in jail. One day, while walking to a city called Damascus, a super
bright light from the sky shined all around him. He fell down, surprised! Then he heard a
voice—it was Jesus! Jesus asked, “Saul, why are you being mean to my friends?” Saul was
confused and asked, “Who are you?” Jesus told him who He was and said, “Stop being mean
and start helping me instead.” After that, Saul couldn’t see for a few days, but he listened to
Jesus and changed his ways. He became Paul and loved Jesus forever!
Even if you make bad choices, Jesus loves you and can help you change to be kind and good.
It’s never too late to say sorry and follow Him.
Acts 9:10-17 (NIV) – “In Damascus there was a disciple named Ananias. The Lord
called to him in a vision, ‘Ananias!’ ‘Yes, Lord,’ he answered. The Lord told him, ‘Go to the house
of Judas on Straight Street and ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul, for he is praying…’ So
Ananias went and… placed his hands on Saul… Immediately, something like scales fell from
Saul’s eyes, and he could see again.”
After the bright light, Paul couldn’t see anything and needed help. God spoke to a kind man
named Ananias and said, “Go help Paul.” Ananias was a little scared because Paul used to be
mean, but he trusted God. When Ananias got to Paul, he put his hands on him and prayed.
Suddenly, Paul’s eyes were healed—like magic scales fell off—and he could see again! Paul
was so happy and thankful. He got baptized and started telling everyone about Jesus.
God can use you to help others, even if you’re scared. Trust Him, and be brave to do what’s
right!
Acts 16:25-26 (NIV) – “About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns
to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent
earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew
open, and everyone’s chains came loose.”
Paul and his friend Silas were telling people about Jesus, but some mean leaders didn’t like it.
They threw Paul and Silas into jail and locked them up tight. But instead of crying or being mad,
Paul and Silas started singing happy songs to God right there in the dark, yucky jail! Guess
what? God heard them, and a big earthquake shook the jail. The doors popped open, and their
chains fell off! The jailer was amazed and asked how to follow Jesus too. Paul and Silas were
free and kept sharing God’s love.
Even when things are hard, you can still praise God and be happy. He’s always with you and
can help you through tough times.
Acts 27:22-25 (NIV) – “But now I urge you to keep up your courage, because not one
of you will be lost; only the ship will be destroyed. Last night an angel of the God to whom I
belong and whom I serve stood beside me and said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul… God has
graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you.’”
Paul was on a big boat with lots of people, but a huge storm came with wind and waves
crashing everywhere. Everyone was scared they’d sink! But an angel from God told Paul, “Don’t
worry, everyone will be safe.” Paul told the people on the boat to trust God. The ship broke
apart, but just like God promised, everyone swam or floated to land and was okay. Paul showed
them God keeps His promises!
Trust God even when you’re scared. He’s stronger than any storm and will take care of you.
Philippians 4:13 (NIV) – “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
Paul couldn’t always visit his friends who loved Jesus, so he wrote them letters—like really long
notes! These letters are in the Bible, and they tell people how to love God and each other. One
time, he wrote to his friends in Philippi and said, “You can do anything with God’s help!” Even
when Paul was stuck in jail or far away, he kept encouraging his friends to be strong and happy
because God was with them.
You can help your friends by encouraging them, even with a kind word or a note. God gives you
strength to do good things!
Acts 13:2-3 (NIV) – “While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit
said, ‘Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.’ So after
they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.”
Paul and his friend Barnabas loved telling people about Jesus. One day, while they were
praying with their church friends, God spoke through the Holy Spirit and said, “I have a special
job for Paul and Barnabas!” The church prayed for them, gave them big hugs, and sent them on
a trip to faraway places. They went to towns and cities, telling everyone that Jesus loves them.
Some people listened, and some didn’t, but Paul and Barnabas never gave up. They were like
superhero messengers for God!
God has special jobs for you too—like being kind or helping others. When you listen to Him, you
can share His love with the world!
Acts 16:16-18 (NIV) – “Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met
by a female slave who had a spirit by which she predicted the future… She kept this up for many
days. Finally Paul… turned around and said to the spirit, ‘In the name of Jesus Christ I
command you to come out of her!’ At that moment the spirit left her.”
One day, Paul and his friends were walking to pray when they met a girl who was in big trouble.
She had a bad spirit making her say things she didn’t want to say, and it wouldn’t leave her
alone. People used her to make money, which wasn’t nice. Paul saw she needed help, so he
said, “In Jesus’ name, go away, bad spirit!” Right then, the spirit left, and the girl was free! She
could smile again, and Paul showed everyone that Jesus is stronger than anything bad.
When you see someone who needs help, you can pray and be kind. Jesus’ love is powerful and
can make things better!
Acts 9:23-25 (NIV) – “After many days had gone by, there was a conspiracy among
the Jews to kill him, but Saul learned of their plan. Day and night they kept close watch on the
city gates… But his followers took him by night and lowered him in a basket through an opening
in the wall.”
After Paul started loving Jesus, some people got mad and wanted to catch him. They guarded
the city gates so he couldn’t leave Damascus. But Paul’s new friends had a sneaky plan! At
night, they put Paul in a big basket—like a laundry basket—and lowered him down the tall city
wall with ropes. Plop! Paul landed safely outside and ran away to keep telling people about
Jesus. It was like a secret adventure
Friends can help you when you’re in trouble. God sends people to take care of you, so you’re
never alone!
Acts 17:22-23 (NIV) – “Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said:
‘People of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. For as I walked around and
looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO AN
UNKNOWN GOD. So you are ignorant of the very thing you worship—and this is what I am
going to proclaim to you.’”
Paul traveled to a big city called Athens, where people loved to talk about ideas and had lots of
statues they prayed to. Paul saw one statue that said “To an Unknown God,” and he got an
idea! He stood up in front of a big crowd and said, “I know who that God is! It’s the real God who
made the world and loves you!” He told them about Jesus, and even though some people
laughed, others listened and wanted to know more. Paul was brave to share the truth!
Don’t be afraid to tell others about what you believe. God can use you to help people learn
about Him, even if they don’t agree at first.
Acts 28:3-5 (NIV) – “Paul gathered a pile of brushwood and, as he put it on the fire, a
viper, driven out by the heat, fastened itself on his hand. When the islanders saw the snake
hanging from his hand, they said to each other, ‘This man must be a murderer…’ But Paul shook
the snake off into the fire and suffered no ill effects.”
Paul was on an island called Malta after his ship broke in a storm. He was helping build a fire to
keep everyone warm when—yikes!—a snake jumped out and bit his hand! The people watching
thought, “Oh no, he’s in big trouble!” But Paul just shook the snake off into the fire and was
totally fine. God protected him! The people were amazed and started listening to Paul when he
told them about Jesus. It was like a superhero moment!
God watches over you, even when scary things happen. Trust Him, and He’ll keep you safe to
do good things.
Philemon 1:10-11 (NIV) – “I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, who became my son
while I was in chains. Formerly he was useless to you, but now he has become useful both to
you and to me.”
Paul met a young man named Onesimus who had run away from his boss, Philemon. Onesimus
was scared, but Paul became his friend while he was in jail. Paul told Onesimus about Jesus,
and he decided to follow Him. Then Paul wrote a letter to Philemon, saying, “Please forgive
Onesimus and take him back. He’s like my own son now!” Paul showed kindness and helped fix
a friendship. Because of Paul, Onesimus and Philemon became like brothers in God’s family.
Be a good friend who helps others make things right. Forgiving and loving people is what Jesus
wants us to do!
Acts 27:9-10 (NIV) – “Much time had been lost, and sailing had already become
dangerous because by now it was after the Day of Atonement. So Paul warned them, ‘Men, I
can see that our voyage is going to be disastrous and bring great loss to ship and cargo, and to
our own lives also.’”
Paul was on a boat with lots of people, heading to a place called Rome. But the weather started
getting bad—really windy and rainy! Paul had a feeling from God that the trip would be
dangerous, so he told the ship’s captain, “We should stop, or the boat might break, and we’ll all
be in trouble!” At first, they didn’t listen, and sure enough, a huge storm came. But later, Paul
told everyone God promised to keep them safe, and he was right—they all made it to land! Paul
trusted God’s warnings.
Listen when God nudges you to be careful. He knows what’s best and wants to keep you safe!
Acts 19:11-12 (NIV) – “God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, so that even
handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were
cured and the evil spirits left them.”
Paul went to a city called Ephesus and told tons of people about Jesus. God gave Paul special
powers to help others—like a superhero from God! When Paul touched handkerchiefs or
aprons, people took them to sick friends, and they got better. Even bad spirits ran away!
Everyone was amazed and started believing in Jesus because of Paul’s love and God’s
miracles. It was like magic, but it was really God’s power.
God can use you to help others in amazing ways. When you share His love, big things can
happen!
Acts 28:30-31 (NIV) – “For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house
and welcomed all who came to see him. He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about
the Lord Jesus Christ—with all boldness and without hindrance!”
Paul finally got to Rome, but he had to stay in a house with guards watching him—like a timeout
that lasted two years! Even though he couldn’t go anywhere, Paul didn’t give up. He invited
people to visit him and told them all about Jesus. Friends came to listen, and Paul kept teaching
and praying, happy to share God’s love even from his house. He showed everyone that nothing
could stop God’s message!
You can still do good things for God, even when life feels hard or stuck. Keep sharing love and
hope, no matter what!
Acts 21:30-31, 22:22-23 (NIV) – “The whole city was aroused, and the people came
running from all directions. Seizing Paul, they dragged him from the temple… While they were
trying to kill him, news reached the commander of the Roman troops… The crowd that followed
kept shouting, ‘Get rid of him!’”
Paul went to Jerusalem to tell people about Jesus, but some folks got really mad. They yelled,
grabbed him, and dragged him outside the temple because they didn’t like what he said. The
crowd was so loud and angry that they wanted to hurt Paul! But just in time, Roman soldiers
came and saved him from the mob. Paul didn’t fight back—he even talked to the crowd about
Jesus while they shouted. He was super brave, even when people were mean!
Stay brave and kind, even when people are upset with you. God is with you, and He can help
you through anything.
Acts 23:16-22 (NIV) – “But when the son of Paul’s sister heard of this plot, he went
into the barracks and told Paul. Then Paul called one of the centurions and said, ‘Take this
young man to the commander; he has something to tell him.’… The commander… asked him,
‘What is it you have to tell me?’”
Some bad guys made a secret plan to catch Paul and hurt him. But Paul’s nephew—a young
boy—heard about it! He sneaked over to where Paul was being kept by soldiers and whispered,
“Watch out, Uncle Paul!” Paul told a soldier, “My nephew has something important to say.” The
boy told the commander about the plan, and the soldiers moved Paul to a safe place that night.
Thanks to his nephew, Paul was okay!
Even kids can help in big ways! God can use you to protect others when you’re brave and tell
the truth.
Acts 16:13-15 (NIV) – “On the Sabbath we went outside the city gate to the river,
where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and began to speak to the women
who had gathered there. One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named
Lydia… The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message.”
Paul went to a city called Philippi and walked to a river where people prayed. He met a lady
named Lydia who sold fancy purple cloth. Paul sat down and told her and her friends about
Jesus. Lydia listened closely, and God helped her heart understand. She said, “I want to follow
Jesus!” Then she invited Paul and his friends to her house to rest. Lydia became one of Paul’s
first friends in that city, and she helped others learn about Jesus too!
Be friendly and listen when people share about God. You can help your friends know Him by
being kind, just like Lydia!
Acts 19:23-26 (NIV) – “About that time there arose a great disturbance about the Way.
A silversmith named Demetrius… called them together… and said: ‘You know, my friends, that
we receive a good income from this business. And you see and hear how this fellow Paul has
convinced and led astray large numbers of people here in Ephesus…’”
Paul was in Ephesus, telling people about Jesus, and lots of them stopped buying little silver
statues of a goddess named Artemis. A man named Demetrius, who made those statues, got
super mad because he wasn’t making money anymore. He gathered his friends and started a
big, noisy riot, shouting, “Paul’s ruining everything!” The whole city was in an uproar, but Paul’s
friends kept him safe. Even though it was loud and scary, Paul kept trusting God and didn’t stop
sharing Jesus’ love.
Doing the right thing might make some people mad, but God helps you stay strong. Keep loving
others, even when it’s tough!
Acts 24:10-11, 24-25 (NIV) – “When the governor motioned for him to speak, Paul
replied: ‘I know that for a number of years you have been a judge over this nation; so I gladly
make my defense…’ Several days later Felix came with his wife Drusilla… He sent for Paul and
listened to him as he spoke about faith in Christ Jesus.”
Paul was taken to a big boss named Felix because some people said he was causing trouble.
Felix was like a judge, and Paul got to tell his side of the story. He said, “I’m just telling people
about Jesus!” Felix listened and even brought his wife, Drusilla, to hear Paul talk more about
God. Paul wasn’t scared—he spoke bravely about Jesus, even though he was in chains. Felix
didn’t let Paul go right away, but Paul kept sharing God’s love anyway.
Be brave and tell the truth, even when you’re in a hard spot. God gives you courage to share
His love with everyone!
Acts 20:36-38 (NIV) – “When Paul had finished speaking, he knelt down with all of
them and prayed. They all wept as they embraced him and kissed him. What grieved them most
was his statement that they would never see his face again. Then they accompanied him to the
ship.”
Paul had some really good friends who were leaders in a church in Ephesus. He told them, “I
have to go far away to tell more people about Jesus, and I might not come back.” They were
sad because they loved Paul so much! They all got together, hugged him, and prayed with him.
There were lots of tears, but Paul said, “Keep loving God and helping others!” Then they walked
him to his ship and waved goodbye. Paul showed them how to care for each other.
Saying goodbye is hard, but you can show love by praying for your friends and helping them
follow God, even when you’re apart.
Acts 16:1-3 (NIV) – “Paul came to Derbe and then to Lystra, where a disciple named
Timothy lived, whose mother was Jewish and a believer but whose father was a Greek… Paul
wanted to take him along on the journey, so he circumcised him because of the Jews who lived
in that area.”
Paul was traveling and met a young man named Timothy, who loved Jesus just like Paul did.
Timothy’s mom taught him about God, and Paul thought, “Timothy would be a great helper!” So,
Paul asked Timothy to join him on his adventures to tell people about Jesus. Timothy said,
“Yes!” and they became best buddies, traveling together and teaching everyone they met. Paul
was like a teacher to Timothy, and they made a super team for God!
You can team up with friends to do good things for God. Helping each other makes you
stronger!
Acts 16:9-10 (NIV) – “During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia
standing and begging him, ‘Come over to Macedonia and help us.’ After Paul had seen the
vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to
preach the gospel to them.”
One night, while Paul was sleeping, he had a special dream from God. In the dream, a man
from a place called Macedonia said, “Please come help us!” Paul woke up and knew God was
telling him where to go next. He told his friends, “Let’s pack up and head to Macedonia!” They
listened to God’s call and went right away to tell the people there about Jesus. Paul’s dream
showed him the way!
God can guide you, even in little ways like a dream or a feeling. Listen to Him, and He’ll show
you how to help others!
Acts 26:28-29 (NIV) – “Then Agrippa said to Paul, ‘Do you think that in such a short
time you can persuade me to be a Christian?’ Paul replied, ‘Short time or long—I pray to God
that not only you but all who are listening to me today may become what I am, except for these
chains.’”
Paul was brought to a fancy king named Agrippa because some people didn’t like him talking
about Jesus. Paul stood in front of the king and told his whole story—how he met Jesus and
changed his life. King Agrippa listened and said, “Are you trying to make me a Christian
already?” Paul smiled and said, “I hope you and everyone here will love Jesus like I do—without
the chains, of course!” Paul was brave and kind, even to a king!
Share what you love about God with everyone, even big important people. Be brave and wish
good things for others!
Acts 27:31-32, 34-36 (NIV) – “Then Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers,
‘Unless these men stay with the ship, you cannot be saved.’ So the soldiers cut the ropes that
held the lifeboat and let it drift away… ‘Now I urge you to take some food. You need it to
survive…’ Then he took some bread and gave thanks to God in front of them all.”
Paul was on a boat in a wild storm, and the sailors were so scared they wanted to jump into a
little lifeboat and leave. Paul said, “No, stay on the big ship, or we won’t make it!” The soldiers
listened and cut the lifeboat loose. Later, when everyone was tired and hungry, Paul held up
some bread, thanked God, and shared it with them. They felt braver and ate together. Paul’s
calm trust in God helped them all stay safe until they reached land!
Stay calm and trust God when things get scary. Sharing and praying together can make
everyone feel better!
Acts 14:8-10 (NIV) – “In Lystra there sat a man who was lame. He had been that way
from birth and had never walked. He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly
at him, saw that he had faith to be healed and called out, ‘Stand up on your feet!’ At that, the
man jumped up and began to walk.”
Paul was in a town called Lystra, talking about Jesus, when he saw a man who couldn’t
walk—not ever! The man listened to Paul and believed in Jesus with all his heart. Paul looked at
him and shouted, “Stand up!” Guess what? The man didn’t just stand—he jumped up and
started walking around! Everyone was amazed, and Paul showed them God’s power can do big
things. It was like a happy surprise party!
Believe in God’s love—it can help you do things you never thought you could! God makes
miracles happen.
Romans 15:13 (NIV) – “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you
trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Paul couldn’t visit his friends in Rome yet, so he wrote them a super special letter. He said, “I
pray God fills you with joy and peace, and makes you so hopeful you’re bursting with it!” Even
though Paul was far away, he wanted his friends to feel happy and strong by trusting God. His
letter was like a big hug through words, and it’s still in the Bible for us to read today!
You can cheer up your friends with kind words, even from far away. God’s hope makes us happy
inside!
Acts 15:36-39 (NIV) – “Some time later Paul said to Barnabas, ‘Let us go back and
visit the believers in all the towns where we preached…’ Barnabas wanted to take John, also
called Mark, with them, but Paul did not think it wise… So they parted company. Barnabas took
Mark and sailed for Cyprus.”
Paul and his best buddy Barnabas were a great team, telling people about Jesus. One day, Paul
said, “Let’s go visit our friends again!” Barnabas wanted to bring their friend John Mark, but Paul
said, “No, he left us last time!” They couldn’t agree, so they decided to split up. Barnabas took
Mark one way, and Paul picked a new friend, Silas, to go another way. Even though they
argued, God used both teams to share His love with more people!
Sometimes friends disagree, but God can still make good things happen. Keep loving others,
even if you go different ways!
Acts 14:11-15 (NIV) – “When the crowd saw what Paul had done, they shouted… ‘The
gods have come down to us in human form!’… But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard
of this, they tore their clothes and rushed out into the crowd, shouting: ‘Friends, why are you
doing this? We too are only human, like you. We are bringing you good news…’”
After Paul healed a man who couldn’t walk in Lystra, the crowd went wild! They thought Paul
and Barnabas were gods and started cheering and bringing gifts. Paul and Barnabas were like,
“No, no, no! We’re just people like you!” They ran into the crowd and said, “We’re here to tell
you about the real God who loves you!” Paul didn’t want the attention—he wanted everyone to
love Jesus instead.
Don’t take credit for what God does. Point people to Him, because He’s the real hero!
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NIV) – “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not
boast, it is not proud… It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
Paul wrote a beautiful letter to his friends in Corinth because they were arguing and forgetting
how to love each other. He said, “Love is patient and kind—it doesn’t get mad or brag. It keeps
going, no matter what!” It was like a special recipe for being good friends. Paul wanted them to
treat each other the way Jesus treats us—with lots of love. Kids like you can read it in the Bible
today!
Love others the way God loves you—be patient, kind, and never give up on being a good friend!
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV) – “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all
circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
Paul had friends in a city called Thessalonica who were feeling sad and worried. So, he wrote
them a letter to make them smile! He said, “Be happy all the time, talk to God every day, and
say thank you, even when things are hard!” Paul was far away, maybe even in jail, but he
wanted his friends to feel strong and loved. His letter was like a big, happy hug on paper, telling
them God is always with them.
Stay happy and thankful, no matter what, because God is with you. You can cheer up your
friends too, just like Paul!
Ephesians 6:10-11 (NIV) – “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put
on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
Paul wrote a letter to his friends in Ephesus to help them feel brave, like knights in a story! He
said, “Be strong with God’s power and put on His armor—like a helmet, shield, and sword—to
stand up to anything bad!” Paul wanted them to know they could fight off mean thoughts or
tough days with God’s help. Even though he couldn’t visit, his letter made them feel ready for
anything!
God gives you strength like super armor! Trust Him to help you be brave every day.
1 Corinthians 9:24-25 (NIV) – “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but
only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the
games goes into strict training.”
Paul loved sports analogies, so he wrote to his friends in Corinth about running a race. He said,
“Run like you want to win a big prize! Work hard and don’t give up, because God has a special
reward for you!” Paul wasn’t talking about a real race but about living for Jesus every day. His
letter cheered them on, like a coach, to keep going and do their best for God.
Keep trying your best for God, like running a race. Don’t give up—He’s cheering for you to win
His love!
Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV) – “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by
prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God,
which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Paul wrote to his friends in Philippi while he was stuck in jail, but he wasn’t grumpy! He said,
“Don’t worry about anything—talk to God instead! Tell Him what you need and say thank you,
and He’ll give you peace that feels like a big, cozy hug.” Paul wanted them to feel calm and
happy, even when life was tricky. His letter was like a secret to staying peaceful with God’s help!
When you’re worried, pray to God and trust Him. He’ll give you peace to feel safe and happy
inside!
Galatians 6:2 (NIV) – “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the
law of Christ.”
Paul sent a letter to his friends in Galatia because they were arguing and forgetting to be nice.
He wrote, “Help each other when things get heavy—like carrying a big backpack together!” Paul
told them that loving and helping friends is what Jesus wants. His letter was like a reminder to
be a team, sharing hugs and help whenever someone needed it.
Be a good friend by helping others when they’re sad or tired. Teamwork makes everyone
stronger!
Colossians 3:12-13 (NIV) – “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly
loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear
with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone.”
Paul wrote to his friends in Colossae to help them grow up strong in God’s love. He said, “Put
on kindness, gentleness, and patience—like putting on your favorite clothes! Forgive each other,
even if someone makes you mad.” Paul wanted them to act like Jesus, being sweet and
forgiving. His letter was like a guide to being a big kid for God!
Grow up by being kind and forgiving, like wearing God’s love every day. It makes you and your
friends happy!
Romans 8:38-39 (NIV) – “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels
nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers… will be able to separate us
from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Paul wrote a big letter to his friends in Rome to tell them something super important. He said,
“Nothing—not scary things, big powers, or even the future—can take God’s love away from
you!” Paul wanted them to feel safe and loved, no matter what happened. His letter was like a
promise that God’s love sticks with you forever, like the best glue ever!
God loves you all the time, and nothing can stop that! You’re always safe in His big love.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7 (NIV) – “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap
sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give
what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves
a cheerful giver.”
Paul wrote to his friends in Corinth about being happy sharers. He said, “If you give a little, you
get a little back, but if you give a lot—like sharing toys or snacks—you get a lot of happiness
back!” Paul told them God loves it when you share with a big smile, not a grumpy face. His letter
was like a fun lesson on giving with joy!
Share with a happy heart, because God loves it when you’re cheerful about helping others!
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NIV) – “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven,
with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the
dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up
together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.”
Paul’s friends in Thessalonica were wondering about Jesus coming back, so he wrote them a
letter full of hope. He said, “One day, Jesus will come down from heaven with a big trumpet
sound, and everyone who loves Him will fly up to meet Him in the sky!” Paul wanted them to be
excited, not scared, about that amazing day. His letter was like a sneak peek at a big party with
Jesus!
Look forward to Jesus coming back—it’s going to be awesome! Live with hope, knowing He’ll be
with you forever.
