John 3:16 Story

Once upon a time, in a bright green garden, there was a tiny little seed named Sammy. Sammy lived deep in the soft, cozy soil with all his seed friends. Every day, Sammy heard stories from
the big flowers above about a wonderful, warm light called the Sun. The Sun made the flowers grow tall and strong, and it loved every little plant in the garden.

But Sammy was scared. “What if the Sun is too bright? What if I don’t grow right?” he whispered to his friend, Daisy Seed. Daisy smiled and said, “Don’t worry, Sammy! The Sun knows how to take care of us. It gives us everything we need.”

One day, a gentle rain fell, and Sammy felt himself wiggle and stretch. Up, up, up he went, poking his little green head out of the soil. And there it was—the Sun! It was warm, golden, and
so kind. Sammy felt happy and safe. Day after day, the Sun shone down on him, and Sammy grew into a tiny plant, then a big, bright flower with yellow petals.

One morning, a little girl named Mia came to the garden. She saw Sammy and clapped her hands. “Wow, you’re so pretty!” she said. Sammy felt proud. He realized the Sun didn’t just help him grow—it made him a gift for others to enjoy too.

That night, as the stars twinkled above, Sammy remembered something special he’d heard from
the big flowers. It was a verse: *“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,
that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”* (John 3:16). Sammy thought, “The Sun is like God’s love—it’s big, warm, and for everyone. And God sent Jesus, His
Son, to show us that love!”
