God made the world in 6 days—light, sky, land, plants, sun, moon, stars, animals, and people (Adam and Eve). On the 7th day, He rested.
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." (Genesis 1:1)
God made everything just by speaking—like saying, “Let there be light,” and it happened!
The first people, Adam and Eve, lived in a perfect garden (Eden). They disobeyed God by eating fruit they weren’t supposed to, bringing sin into the world.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
Choices matter, and God still loved them even after they messed up.
People were being naughty, so God sent a big flood to start over. Noah built a giant boat (ark), took his family and animals inside, and they were safe.
"Noah did everything just as God commanded him." (Genesis 6:22)
After the flood, God put a rainbow in the sky as a promise to never flood the whole earth again.
God chose Abraham to start a special family (the Israelites). God promised him as many descendants as stars in the sky!
"I will make your offspring like the dust of the earth." (Genesis 13:16)
Abraham trusted God and moved to a new land, even though he didn’t know where he was going.
God’s people were slaves in Egypt. Moses led them out with God’s help—splitting the Red Sea so they could escape!
"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." (Exodus 14:14)
God gave Moses the 10 Commandments, rules to live by, like “Love God” and “Don’t steal.”
David was a shepherd boy who became a great king. He beat a giant named Goliath with just a sling and a stone.
"The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need." (Psalm 23:1)
God uses small people for big things when they trust Him.
God sent His Son, Jesus, as a baby in Bethlehem. Angels told shepherds, and wise men brought gifts.
"Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord." (Luke 2:11)
Christmas celebrates Jesus’ birthday!
Jesus grew up, taught about God’s love, did miracles, then died on a cross to forgive our sins. Three days later, He came back to life!
"He is not here; he has risen, just as he said." (Matthew 28:6)
Easter celebrates Jesus rising, showing He’s stronger than death.
After Jesus went back to heaven, His friends (disciples) told everyone about Him. The church started and grew all over the world.
"Go and make disciples of all nations." (Matthew 28:19)
People who follow Jesus today are part of this big family!
The Bible says Jesus will come back one day to make everything perfect—no more sadness or sin.
"Look, I am coming soon!" (Revelation 22:12)
We can look forward to living with God forever!
- God made everything.
- People messed up, but God kept helping them (Noah, Abraham, Moses, David).
- Jesus came to save us and show us God’s love.
- One day, Jesus will come back!
